Not in 3/4 as u can say, u re a bit over saying !!! take it easy. Dont make generality just after reading few comments. I also voted for some pics and human wasnt there but addiction was revealed immediatly and obvisousely. Now look at the one i say that and try to imagine one hand or one finger what a foot even LOL what do u think ? i dont say i m right, so far this idea but u know its ll give more life and connection to such theme.
Beside i myself not always use this human part, depending of the theme.
But in this kind of pic and the one i could have say so, YES it miss a part of human as u know addiction touch first human. And i m sorry but if u had just a finger or hand, as i mentioned u b4, this pic which is great quality, i dont deny this, will have increase a lot ur interpretation of the theme.
Well, u must know for exemple in photojournalism, i talk about it as this is my job, the human part in a photo, depending of the theme of course, can help a lot, because the viewer can indentify himself to what he sees. But well, this is maybe my default, just not let my work appart when i see, comment or critic a photo.

I think it miss some human or just a finger or part of hands to feel the addiction. I know what u mean by this pic, which is well done, clear, dof,angle etc., but this is not enough ...
