While I have dinged some people for shooting their subjects from behind and/or for having them too small in the frame, here you have balanced them with the bicycles. That also saves you (somewhat) for composing them at the edge of the frame and looking out of it. Normally a no-no, but here it fits the scene. They are looking onward.
I think my only complaint would be that the composition/cropping should exclude the boat on the water. It doesn't really help the story being told and does pull the eye away from the subjects.
