Hello thirties! The upper left petals has the appearance of small round brush marks. You can see my concern. Good clone work can be a delicate procedure often being very time consuming. I try to stay away from it just for the reason but won't shy if it's needed.

It didn't occur to me that this was a natural part of the flower, maybe accented by lighting and/or post work. I would have certainly followed up with some idea's on clone work had this been the case.

Any way, good shot and I think I may have even gave it a vote.

Not real sure I'm liking the composition or view point. However, I'm liking the lighting very much and the tones, though it 'does appear' that you did some clone work on several highlight area's. The mix of softness from the lighting and the sharpness of edges is appealing.

A near miss. I like where I think you were going with this. You had a good balance of light and dark going except for that bright patch in the lower right corner. Also, while I want the lower left half dark, I'd like a little more detail and contrast there. You need all the texture you can get on something like this. IMF

Beautifully backlite and great tone.
I would have liked some relfected light on the bottom left to soften the blackness and the inclusion of the total flower at the top.
