LOL! Thank you for your comments - I'm very pleased that so many liked this (I wasn't sure it had enough technology to the fore, to be honest). One more step and I'll blow you away - broph, that's brilliant! I wish I'd thought of it. :-D Glad people liked the lighting/silhouette - it turned out pretty much as I'd imagined it beforehand. Two flashes were used, one on the floor sort of 'draped' in a big piece of red gel (didn't want to cut it up) and the other above head height with a yellow-orange gel. The flashes were aimed at the background (er, obviously...), with the subject about ten feet (3 metres) in front of it for a clean silhouette (not quite as clean as I'd hoped - well spotted Chefziggy!). Plebian: Hats are cool (sometimes literally...). Straw hats are definitely cool. ;-) As to your question, both I and shudder got in contact with Mike, and Shudder did go ahead and submit some pics to istockphoto. He had some initial problems with his uploads - I do not know if he was eventually successful. Hope so - I must ask him! I did look into it (stock photography) but have not been organised enough (nor sufficiently confident, if truth be known...) to submit any photos myself yet. Sadly, Mike Bee lost his father at around the time I contacted him. I told him I'd get in touch another time but have not yet done so - thanks for reminding me. Delighted and hugely entertained, as always, to read your comments, Lawrence. Thank you, and best regards to Juice. :-D Thanks all for another good challenge, to irvcobb for an excellent subject and to Captain Dan for keeping the good ship Fujimugs clear of the icebergs. :-) Cheers, N

Love the hat! I've been wearing my straw hat a lot lately, the one Juice borrowed for her cameo. That blunderbuss pistol sure looks alot like a portable hair dryer ;-) The sunburst b/g is fantastic!!!
I'm curious, has there been any activity or consideration on this front..? (LINK)

Nice. The silhouette could be crisper. But I really love the lighting and composition. IMF.

Love this shot. Not certain how it fits into technology... technology is all around us and we don't even recognize it? Anyway. Good, strong image. Lighting is everything here. Eyecatching colour choice. In my TT.

Original, funny, well composed. You conveyed a lot through a silhouette well done. High in my top ten.

Nice lighting. The Dark part is so even. And you didn't even have to pp it.

Nice image, interesting and funny. Got my attention right away but I don't see the technical side of this, maybe if you had explained it more. Good luck.

Not only the most colorful of the entries but amusing as well. Beautiful silhouette and striking color and very eye appealing. Not sure of the caption. I would have opted for: 'One more step and I'll blow you away' Top Ten.
