KPlourde, I very nearly went the statue/doll route. Finding a willing person and then securing time for the shoot almost didn't happen. Even after showing the final results I nearly didn't get the ok. I didn't exactly show them in their best light.
This is a very good shot and I like the shadows. The marble of this statue photographed nicely.

Thanks sparkdog! I had no animated human subjects willing to cooperate so was forced to go the inanimate route. I'm very glad someone liked it and took the time to comment. I probably should have tried a different time of day to minimize the shadows. It's located very close to me so I have plenty of opportunity to check different lighting.

As one of the few other people who submitted a photo of a human face made out of something other than human flesh, I wanted to let you know that I thought shooting a statue was a clever idea. :-) I like this shot. I like that the face is slightly off-center. The shadow to the left of her face is just a little bit distracting, but otherwise I think the lighting works nicely.
