I like this but I think I would like it better in color. Although it does look like the sky might be pretty plain and maybe too bright anyway. Composition is good and I like the crisp frozen water. The smooth flowing look just wouldn't look right with this, I suspect.

Hi, Thanks you all for your nice comments!
I also would like to know how this bridge looked in it's time. I think it dropped down recently because i saw some pictures (drawings) of this bridge in a bar restaurant near by, but maybe it was only the fantasy of the artist drawing that picture that represented it complete.
Plebian, Davidlong, you are right, but when i saw this on the computer i found it much noisy in the shadows so i could not bring up the middle tones too much without to bring up too much noise and jpeg artifacts. So i decided to leave it as natural.
The bridge is backlighted so i think it justify a darker image. Anyway I see that is a dangerous image, because it can be too dark on uncalibrated monitors giving too much contrast. On my monitor i can easily see all the details in the shadows :-)
Conanfuji, thanks for your comment, i found this picture more interesting in B&W than in color, that's why i coverted it in B&W.

Nice perspective of an ancient ruin and beautiful river. I would love to see this photo in summer view. Good Luck~!

The shadows/midtones could be brought up some. The dark subject is difficult to appreciate. Composition is good, may be slightly tilted though.

I love this is B&W, it makes you wonder what the whole bridge looked like in it's time. In my TT

Tough to hold that much dynamic range, but I would have liked to have seen more detail in the bridge given that it's the subject. Perhaps a photo at a different time of day would have been more amenable to a balanced exposure.

i'm a sucker for a B&W shot. this is great. wonderful textures and tones, great dof and focus is spot on. lovely water motion with the detail nicely composed with a interesting angle. this is great and i hope it does well for you.

This shot really needs colour. Would love to see what the roman bridge's shade.
