Great putting the viewer right in the action. Nice composition against the blue sky. Wondering if some fill-flash might have brought out the features of the two lower combatants.

Was it to remind everyone that there was a landmark bloodshed there? There's an interesting precedence about statues and horses. I can't quite remember but if the statue is on a horse on it's hind legs, it's suppose to mean that the guy was killed in battle?
Someone help me out here. Nice shot.
