I think what makes this photo work is the softness of the light wrapping the bulb, plus the highlight on the back helps add the necessary contrast for the fillament. Good work.

Definitely delicate. I liked this shot enough to put it in my TT but it didn't have the same punch as those that I ranked above you. Nice shot though.

Good clarity on the center thingy -- I like the b&w. Overall, the light, dark, and the circular edge make for a very striking composition! In my first draft of favorites (top 15).
