Post-Processing:
Converted in ACR to monotone. Some minor cropping for improved perspective. Curve adjustment. Created a color mode layer and painter the amber color for the feather. Resize and sharpen. I originally saw a feather caught in the thistled bush while outdoors photographing some birds and brought like items into the studio.

Yes Sir, this is a delicate situation. Great focus and good separation from the BKG. IMF, good luck, dp.

Excellent use of DoF and good job painting the amber color onto the feather. Lighting and comp is very good and well done with the studio setup.

Nice. I think it would work better with everything in crisp focus ... TT anyway.

Really not sure about the composition.
Rather than attract my eye it seems to produce conflict and take away from the beauty of the objects.
I think I would have flipped the small feather to make it cure towards the larger feather to give it some symmetry and cohesiveness. Good luck.

Excellent composition, very well handled light and colour - it's like a dance! High among my TT.
