erel, DoF is the one thing I like here. Yeah, the front of the shoe is slightly oof and being on/near a RoT intersection you'd think it should be in total focus, and maybe it should be.? What I'm liking is how the indentation is slightly out of focus and is working to push the eye to the lacelessness of the shoe. The flow of the eye is good and the DoF when passing thru the lace area has a very natural feel. I like it.
Glad to see ya back in it.

Simple, gritty, and on theme. Post work and comp look good. Well shot!

thanks for comments folks.. I haven't touched my camera much in recent two months, and I really missed it..and I missed some great challenges here as well, but perhaps I am back again... I don't like DOF on this shot..front of shoe isn't in focus, also lighting could have been better...

Not so original but still a real good one. It kept jumping at me for attention, so in my top 5. Good luck.

Great shot, bit boring, but fits topic perfectly! Well done, high in my TT! This was a hard challenge I reckon!

I like the angle and color. Another novel take on the subject too.

This image fits the challenge well. Not too smelly I hope.

Nice twist , clever shot. I would prefer a closer / lower anlge shot to show the laceless shoe. Good effort. In my tt.
