I don't know how about the richer colours you wished to have, but this is really beautiful! Maybe richer colours would not give the same mood. I like also the composition,

Of course I love this one - who wouldn´t?! I actually think missed-sunsets can be as elaborate as the real thing but beautifully understated.

I like the colors. Might be a bit subdued, but I think that works here. It certainly give the shot atmosphere.
Only a couple of things I can suggest. Color and comp are great. But I'd clone out a few of the specs in the water. Looks like something (seaweed?) floating on the water. That kinda causes my eye to snag on the otherwise smooth water. Also, I might get rid of the towers in the far background on the left. They don't add anything but do serve as something to draw my eye away from the subject.
In my faves, for sure.
