SunRISE!!! :-D it really was sunrise....that is why I ran out and got some pics because it was very odd.

Definately caught the mood of sunset in the woods. (Been there, done that.) One the one hand I want find the trees too busy. Then again my eye refocuses and the trees become a semi-homgenous mass. Tough call, but it IS moody.
I also like the smooth grdation of color in the background. And the placement of the sun is pretty spot on TROT (The Rule Of Thirds). I wish the sun were sharper, but that's not gonna happen. Unless you had a spopt ND filter like I've always wanted and isn't made. Nice pic. Have you printed it yet?

I don't know...I don't feel it is torpid.. But it does look like a sunset rather than a sunrise so maybe that is what you meant. Looks a bit familiar...good luck.
