Tough scene to photograph. Since I assume you wanted the reflected sunlight in the shot, you really needed some fill flash on the rocks. Also, panning a little to the right and moving the sunlight more to the left side of the frame would eliminate some of the total darkness on that side.
While I do get serenity from this, it's not real strong.
