Good tune! Did you have a hand in any of this painting? The black almost looks as if put on glass set in front of an abstract painting. Either way, it looks good and fits the song nicely.

I really hope you didn't take a can of black paint in to your local gallery to get this shot.

I love that song so this image was always going to appeal to me! It's quite an abstract image and it works very well. I hope that wasn't an expensive piece of art work you've wasted. Unless of course it's modern art, in which case it looks lovely :)

It's kinda difficult to determine photographic quality with a flat canvas. I'm sure the artsy folks like it though.

I was never a Rolling Stones fan. Black is not very black. I think SDD could have helped improve this image.

Perhaps the picture is not sharp enough, because the water- based black paint wasn’t completely dry.
As I mentioned in the comment before I did the black
painting myself.

Some angry artist was at work here it seems.... quite dramatic.
It looks as if this photo is not entirely sharp. Other than that, I wonder what your input was in this photograph of a piece of art, did you perhaps work on the composition by framing it to your taste? For me, a straight-on picture of a painting is not really the summum of photographic creativity.

The portions of black you have used are in good balance with the pic and not over done. Maybe a very small paint bush thrown in somewhere would be a nice addition, but not a major issue, well done and good work.

The original painting in colors was made by a unknown student of the academy of arts.
I did the black painting myself with water-based paint by inspiration of the song Paint It Black and then I took some pictures.
I wasn’t satisfied (I can get no satisfaction) with it, so I painted, painted, painted more black and took more pictures and this one i liked best.

So... what is this? Did you do the painting? Did you photograph someone else's painting? You mention 'Black Painting' in your pp notes: did you paint on your pic in PS? So many questions... so little time. :)
I like this a lot. I think its artistic vulgarity (and I mean that in a good way!) fits the Stones song to a tee. Excellent.
