I'm not a cat person and, I think the blue background contradicts any warmth conveyed by the kitten sleeping. The tight crop does not add much either. Having said this, I cannot explain why I like the image so much. It's in my favorites.

I've owned a couple of siamese cats and they're difficult to photograph. Either the whites get blown out or the details in the dark areas get lost. Nice cat, interesting idea but something about it, perhaps the use of flash, doesn't work for me.

His eyes really are squeezed tightly shut! (Trying to keep the world at bay?...) It's a cute photo, but not really to my tastes. Good luck.
