I'm shocked at this result :-0 . I was sure you had an easy win! I would have been proud to have entered this photo. Better luck next time.

I agree with Neil UK that this photo would have deserved more. It was my #2 (anonymous vote). This means, however, that Neil did neither give it his #1 nor his #2 vote. How does this go with your comment, Neil?

My #4. I like the lines and the composition.

Quite rightly, the best has been kept till last! Wonderful and imaginative composition. I love how his eye is spot on a third. Lovely soft detail. I would have been tempted to sharpen it a bit more, but i'm like that. I would have preferred it if the top right corner was burned in totally black but I can't see anything keeping this photo from it's rightful place as winner of this challenge. Well done and good luck.

Nicely composed to achieve an abstract look. In my T3.

picked this out right away from thumbnail into favorites. even if you don't like bird shots, this works well and would look great framed and on public display somewhere.

Nice angles and good contrast from black to white. Not a fan of this border, probably too dark and thin for this. But I like the photo a lot.
