Maybe not as 'Red' as some of the other shots but I love it and can almost smell the paint! In my top 5. Good luck!

What a great red! but what did you do with the lid? Yuck! :-) . Lovely and sharp but my eyes get drawn to the sloping background and the red speck in the bottom right corner. Cropping off these two things would help your photo I think. GL.

I don't want the pristine tube..I like this old battered one just fine. Maybe take a little off the top and bottom (tighter crop).

This goes in my favorites. Lovely texture, soft lighting and just the right dof. Not too sure about the crop/framing. I would have opted for more negative space (on the left) I guess as the tube pointing outward and the paint pointing towards the center is not giving it a coherent composition. Good luck!

Thanks saypat and elliot. El, it is on a painter's pallett.. Look in the top right corner and observe the mess. LOL

one of my favorite reds too (in my favorites). perfect lighting and focus. i understand your extra info but it seems to conflict with composition with tube on pristine surface. would do better with me if it was sitting on a well used painter's palette.
still high in my picks. el
