Post-Processing:
Stitched three photos together as the stem was so large.
Used curves, cloned and enriched the tones slightly.
Cropped, shrunk and Unsharp mask.
Extra Info:
This is the most curvaceous ceiling I have ever seen.

It rises from beneath the floor in the form of a 40 foot high circular funnel. This then fans out and forms six elliptical undulating domes covering 43,000 sqft.

The ceiling is made of a metal skeleton that is lined with over 131,000 feet of Western Red Cedar wood from Canada.

It feels like you are walking underneath a gigantic flat topped mushroom!

Thank you all for the great comments :-). This is the ceiling of the Oriel in the Welsh Assembly Building (Senedd) in Cardiff Bay. Here is a link to some wider pictures of it (LINK) which also show it in relation to one of my earlier challenge entries (LINK) This 'chimney' passes all the hot air from my governments debates (who sit directly below it) to the outside through the roof. (LINK)

Dan and Leanne - Yes, they are holes for the ceiling lights. I considered trying to remove them but I thought it would spoil the authenticity of the scene (there are hundreds of lights spread out over the ceiling). As each one was an ellipse I felt their own curves added to the photo.

Nice find and suits the challenge. I know they belong there but the black cavities (housing for security cameras, lights?? ) annoy me, probably because they spoil the lovely overall timber pattern. Would like to see it cropped at the bottom and left side to remove them. Exposure is good.

Wow, that is a curvacious ceiling! I think the light fixtures are a little distracting, but still, it's a great, curvy shot!
