Post-Processing:
Very little really, darkened highlights, USM and cropped to 800 square. Thats it.
Extra Info:
I have had the idea for this photo for a long time but waited for the right challenge to come along before trying to take it. I can't remember ever getting up earlier on a Sunday morning!

Thank you all for your kind comments. Leanne- I had a go after you suggested at lightening the shadows but there wasn't any detail I could rescue. The shadows just went all blotchy and nasty.

Perhaps you could have lightened the shadows just a little so could see some of the texture of the pier? What I really like about this is the glow on the water from the horizon to the bottom of the frame. Probably not the best subject to put in a square crop( I can see it looking marvelous in a panorama style shot, but it made my TT.

Super shot well worth the wait.Great contrast of colour of sky and see, also the cloud running in line with the pier.
